Colon toxicity can be the underlying cause of many of these commonly reported health problems and may indicate the need for colon hydrotherapy…
What Happens During A Colon Hydrotherapy Session?
Colon Hydrotherapy is the safe, gentle infusion of water into the colon via the rectum. The process begins with the client lying on the treatment table. This is completely comfortable. The next step is for a small speculum to be gently inserted. It is through this device that warm, filtered water is passed into the client’s colon.
In modern colon hydrotherapy the purification systems are multi-stage. These systems are completely enclosed to enable waste to be disposed of without any unpleasant odours and without compromising the dignity of the client. After each therapy session, the unit is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected in preparation for future use.
Our skilled colon hydrotherapist will use a number of fills and releases of water, as well as light massage techniques, to dislodge the waste matter from the walls of the client’s colon. Once the faecal material is dislodged it is washed away via the system’s waste disposal hose.
The therapist will monitor the water temperature and pressure as therapy proceeds. This is done to enable the therapist to change these factors in order to stimulate the muscular contractions in the colon known as peristalsis. This is a key factor in stimulating a sluggish (atonic) colon.
A typical colon hydrotherapy session will utilise between 25 and 35 gallons of water to flush the colon. The therapist may employ a number of different techniques to improve the effectiveness of the treatment. These can include massage of the abdomen (with the client’s agreement), breathing and relaxation techniques and reflexology. These various techniques add to the efficacy of the treatment and removal of toxic waste that an individual could not produce on their own.
One colon hydrotherapy session can amount to the equivalent of 20 to 30 bowel movements. Repeat sessions can produce improved results in dislodging older and harder agglomerations of faecal material.
The hydrotherapist will determine progress during the session and recommend additional therapy if thought to be beneficial.
Clients often report an increase in energy and vitality after a colon hydrotherapy session.
There is little doubt that your colon will be a lot cleaner and you may find that bowel movements become easier. Your health should also improve.
